Our Philosophy:

Little Star Creative Parties strives to make a positive impact by providing a wide selection of environmentally friendly products. Our goal is to work with suppliers that are green in all aspects of their business, from manufacturing to encouraging their employees to adapt green practices both at work and at home. Although this is not always possible, this is our ultimate goal. LSCP inquires about our suppliers’ manufacturing process. We are constantly researching high quality and environmentally superior materials and we ask our vendors if they have visited their factories abroad. We try to gather information about the companies’ overall commitment to making a sustainable and healthy product and maintaining a healthy work enviromenment. While not every company with eco friendly products has all of the elements we would like them to have; we try to work with them towards that goal. We have a personal relationship with many of our suppliers and most are small companies. This makes it easier to speak directly with the owner to discuss environmental ideas and practices. We have found that most companies that offer green-minded products are open to improving other aspects of their businesses, which further helps to align our goals. LSCP is committed to offering products that create better options for a greener life. We hope that our site inspires parents and adds to awareness that everyday choices make a difference.

About:

I grew up in Brazil, where we love to celebrate life and throw a party, especially for our children. As a young girl, my family moved to the United States, and I still love to find reasons to celebrate. Connecting with family and friends is something I have always cherished. Throughout my childhood as well as after graduating from the University, I have traveled extensively and lived in many places throughout the world. I have been to incredibly beautiful beaches, where sadly I watched people dump oil from their boats right into the ocean. I have hiked to amazing places, and seen wonderful sites that were also full of plastic bottles and trash. These experiences have touched me dramatically. After meeting my prince and having two children, the desire to make the world a better place and to teach my children to do the same is even stronger. I feel that it is my obligation to do my part, no matter how small, to contribute to the health of our environment.
